中西方飲食習(xí)慣的主要區(qū)別在于:中國(guó)把菜肴放在桌上大家共享，西方則每個(gè)人都有自己的食盤。中國(guó)的餐桌禮儀是指中國(guó)人的傳統(tǒng)用餐方式。自中國(guó)古代起，就有許多人們必須注意的餐桌禮儀，比如餐具(cutlery)如何擺放，如何在宴會(huì)上落座等。通常情況下，尊貴的人應(yīng)坐尊位(seat of honor)，地位較低的人根據(jù)各自地位高低相應(yīng)落座;長(zhǎng)者座位的朝向最好。

The main difference between Chinese and westerneating habits lies in that dishes in China are placedon the table for everybody to share, while everyonehas their own plate of food in the West. Chinesetable manners are the traditional eating styles ofChinese people. There are many table manners that one must pay attention to, which date fromthe time of ancient China, such as how to place the cutlery, how to sit in a banquet, and soon. Under normal conditions，honorable people should take the seats of honor, and humblerones then sit down according to their status; the elders, scats face the best direction.

蒙古族牧民(herdsmen)的生活方式很有特色。牧民們喜歡吃牛羊肉和奶制品 (dairyproduct)，喜歡喝紅茶和磚茶(bricktea)。他們大多住在圓形的蒙古包(ger) 里。蒙古包頂上開(kāi)有天窗，用來(lái)通風(fēng)(ventilation)和采光。蒙古族是一個(gè)能騎善射、能歌善舞的民族。每年七、八月舉行的“那達(dá)慕”大會(huì)(Nadama Fair)，是蒙古族人民一年一度的盛大節(jié)日，大會(huì)上有賽馬、摔跤、射箭(archery)比賽和精彩的歌舞表演。

The Mongolian herdsmen's life style hasdistinguishing features. The herdsmen like eating redmeat and dairy products，and drinking black tea andbrick tea. Most of them live in circular gers withwindows on the top, used for ventilation andlighting. The Mongolians are a group talented in riding and shooting，and singing and dancing.The Nadama Fair, which is held in July and August every year，is the Mongolian people's annualgrand festival.There would be horse racing，wrestling，archery race and excellent musical anddance performances on the festival.
