　　Convict是判定某人有罪的意思。"He was convicted of Driving Under the Influence and was sentenced to six months in prison," 他醉酒駕車罪名成立，被判入獄半年。"North Korea convicted two American journalists and sentenced them to 12 years of hard labor," 北韓判決兩名美國記者有罪，讓她們勞改12年。

　　"The former Israeli finance minister was convicted of theft from the National Workers Federation between 1998 and 2005 when he headed the labor union," 以色列前財政部長被判定1998年至2005年在全國工人聯(lián)合會任職期間犯有監(jiān)守自盜罪。
