both意為one and the other(一個和另一個，兩者都)。

　　它后面跟動詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式。

　　both可單獨(dú)使用，后面也可跟名詞：

　　Both(doors)were open.

　　兩個(門)都開著。

　　或后面跟(of)+the/these/those或所有格形式：

　　both(of)the wheels兩個車輪都……

　　both(of)your wheels你的兩個車輪都……

　　或后面跟of+us/you/them：

　　Both of us knew him.

　　我們倆都認(rèn)識他。

　　人稱代詞+both也是可以的：

　　We both knew him.
