　　Today is a special day for us, because my friends and I saw the eclipse.

　　It happened at about 9:00 a.m. It was so glorious that we shouldn't miss it.

　　It was the most brilliant natural phenomenon. It happens in every five hundred years, so it was worth seeing.

　　它是最壯觀的自然現(xiàn)象。每五百年出現(xiàn)一次日食，所以是值得一看的。

　　During the eclipse, the sun was screened by the moon, so it was gloomy outside.

　　日食的時(shí)候，太陽被月亮遮住，所以外面是暗淡的。

　　While seeing the eclipse, we should wear the special sunglasses; otherwise it would be bad for our eyes.

　　在看到日食的時(shí)候，我們應(yīng)該帶特殊的太陽鏡；否則會(huì)傷害我們的眼睛。

　　In the river south, the sun was wholly sheltered by the moon, so people could see the whole scenery.

　　在江南太陽完全被月球遮蔽，所以人們可以看到整個(gè)風(fēng)景。

　　It seemed that the night was coming. Everyone was so thrilled.

　　似乎夜晚來臨了。每個(gè)人都很興奮。
