世界環(huán)境日 World Environment Day
World Environment Day is commemorated each year on June 5th,and started from 1972,which is established by the United Nations General Assembly for raising global awareness to take actions to protect the Nature.The establishment of World Environment Day shows people’s the cognition and the attitude to the environmental problem,and expresses our human beings’desire of pursuing the better environment.Every year the United Nations Environment Program proposes a theme,and the 20xx theme of this day will focus on‘Small Island and Climate change’and the slogan is“Raise Your Voice Not the Sea Level”.This year's slogan is"To improve environmental quality The development of green".
世界環(huán)境日為每年的6月5日，起始于1972年，它是聯(lián)合國為了提高全球的環(huán)保意識而創(chuàng)建的。環(huán)境日的創(chuàng)立展現(xiàn)了人們對環(huán)境問題的認識和態(tài)度，表達了人們對美好環(huán)境的追求渴望。每一年聯(lián)合國環(huán)境規(guī)劃署都會提出一個環(huán)境日主題，而20xx年的主題主要著重于小島嶼與氣候變化，口號是“提高你的呼聲，而不是海平面”。今年的口號是“改善環(huán)境質量推動綠色發(fā)展”。
World Environment Day can be celebrated in lots of ways,for instances,planting trees,doing some recycling,participating the clean-up campaigns and so on.Certainly people can also do something simple,like going to work by bus instead of private cars.I believe if everyone takes environmental actions as a habit,we are doing a big difference for the better environment.
慶祝世界環(huán)境日的方式多種多樣，例如植樹，對廢物進行循環(huán)利用，參加清潔行動等等。當然，人們也可以做些簡單的小事來紀念，比如說不駕駛私家車上班，改乘公交車去上班。我相信只要大家都將這些環(huán)保小事當成習慣，我們將會為建造美好環(huán)境做出重大貢獻。
