初二作文：揚(yáng)起自信的風(fēng)帆
SALARY EXPECTATION
We talked about salary today, me with an old colleague who works as a driver and perchaser in the project. He's been a driver for decades and half of the time was spent in EFEOC. He asked first about my payment. I told him frankly about several parts of payment. I suppose my payment is decent compare with other and also want to talk more about this. I expected a steady raise of about 10% each year starting from 3000. However, I may not be treated well in this company. Translater is secondary position and considered important. It is sometime significant, thought, at the nigotiation table, for example. We talked a bit of my roommate during his absence who I think is a pretty competent man. After working for the company above 10 years, he is making a payment of 4000~5000 which I think is a rather low standard for whoever had ten year's working experience. I will not be next him at least. I mentioned my former classmates most of who work in seaside cities like Shenzhen, Shanghai. They are able to make a monthly salary of 4000 now after 3 year's efforts and accumulation of working experience and clients. I set myself the goal to make a monthly salary of 10000 at my early thirties which seems now quite embitious. But I would not shrink or give up. I need only to do one thing right and live on it, so to say, translation. I would regret that I was so many times declined as a professional translator only find I do have too much to improve. Everything I do is linked to English. I watch English TV program for news. I watch English movie and soap drama for entertaining. I read English newspaper, story book. I use English to work everyday.
Tomorrow, besides meeting my sister-in-law, I would buy some books professional English, about mechanical and electrial installation and constrction. I will study carefully so that after I finish this job I can afford to declare that I know mechanical and electrical English, ask me about it, anything.
