　　當(dāng)我們說到托福寫作技巧中句式多樣性的時(shí)候，我們最常想到的就是兩點(diǎn)，第一點(diǎn)，這是好像一直都與我絕緣，我們最常寫的就只有定語從句和賓語從句，第二點(diǎn)，所謂句式的多樣性，貌似只要把句子寫長(zhǎng)了，句子就有多樣性了。如果我們喜歡賣弄文字的話，其實(shí)大可以說短句不見得句子多樣性就不好，長(zhǎng)句不見得句子多樣性就好。但是托福作文句子長(zhǎng)本身就是更有空間來承載更多的可能性，這里自然也就包括句子的多樣性。如果句子短的話，可用空間就少，想增加多樣性難度就會(huì)偏高，這是不可否認(rèn)的。

　　但是，這并不意味著句子單純的長(zhǎng)就是好事，其實(shí)簡(jiǎn)單來說，新托福寫作中我們會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)高分作文句子的長(zhǎng)度大多是會(huì)控制在2行以內(nèi)，換句話說，如果一篇托福作文之中有1-2句超過了2行，是可以的，但是如果有5句以上都超過了2行，在別人看的時(shí)候，有可能就會(huì)覺得過于復(fù)雜難懂了，這個(gè)度是要把握好的。

　　接下來就是我們句式多樣性的主菜了，也就是到底哪些元素會(huì)增加句子的多樣性呢?這就要分為兩大塊，第一大塊是替換和改寫句子里面的某些詞來實(shí)現(xiàn)的，另外一部分，則是要重寫整個(gè)句子才能實(shí)現(xiàn)的。

　　當(dāng)然第一塊是最好做的，我們不妨先來看第一部分。其實(shí)第一部分，可以包括如下幾個(gè)部分，分別是：定語從句，非限定性定語從句，賓語從句，同位語，介賓結(jié)構(gòu)，并列結(jié)構(gòu)，固定搭配，以及地道的表達(dá)方式。我們可以看一下作文巨講堂里面的句子。

　　固定搭配的代表就是：For instance, the computer plays an important role in our life in terms of efficiency.里面的plays an important role。

　　前面這是第一部分，不過說實(shí)話，這還是簡(jiǎn)單易學(xué)的。但是有一些其實(shí)是要改變我們整體的思維方式，由此來改變我們的寫作或者說表達(dá)方式，其實(shí)這一點(diǎn)上是難度很高的。比如說這句話The extreme seriousness of desertification results from the vast areas of land and the tremendous numbers of people affected, as well as from the great difficulty of reversing or even slowing the process.
