　　上面的報(bào)道中，income benchmark就是“工資指導(dǎo)價(jià)”，也叫“工資基準(zhǔn)”，benchmark在這里指a standard by which something can be measured or judged，即“基準(zhǔn)、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”之意。

　　例如：His painting sets the benchmark of quality.他的畫(huà)成為衡量繪畫(huà)品質(zhì)的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

　　政府制定income benchmark是為了用人單位和求職者在商討薪資待遇時(shí)有個(gè)基本的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，一般都包括high-level、medium-level 和 low-level income benchmark.在投資領(lǐng)域，我們有時(shí)候也會(huì)看到income這個(gè)短語(yǔ)，不過(guò)就跟工資無(wú)關(guān)了，指的是“收益”，比如fixed income benchmark(固定收益基準(zhǔn))，fixed income securities(固定收益證券)，net income(凈收益)等。
